1892 Dog Tax Tag was donated by Mark Frisk of Motley.  The "Motley Citizen" newspaper reported in December, 1901 that Claude Townsend filed a loss claim for damages due to dogs killing his sheep.  The monies were to come from the dog tax which was $1.00 per male and $3.00 for female dogs.

This antique bank was donated by Gary Stevenson of Motley.  There is a slot on the top and a lock for a key on the bottom.  It reads "First National Bank, Motley, Minn."
